NIRI will use its expertise in prototype development and materials testing to lead those aspects of textile packaging and non-woven membrane developments. Protypes will be developed, optimized and validated using laboratory equipment in NIRI. This will also include polymer characterization for selecting suitable candidates for yarn spinning and nonwoven production.
